Cape May County is NJ's southernmost county — a peninsula bordered by the Atlantic on the east, Delaware Bay on the west. The county is one of America's most architecturally significant historic shore destinations, with Cape May's 1880s Victorian Historic District designated a National Historic Landmark. Window work here is overwhelmingly coastal-spec heritage and family-shore residential.

Cape May (the city) is the historic anchor — 600+ Victorian-era houses preserved across the National Historic Landmark district, with the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts (MAC) overseeing preservation. Window work in the historic district almost always requires HPC review for material changes. We restore original wood double-hung sash with true-divided lights, replicate cope-and-stick muntin profiles when sash beyond restoration must be replaced, and add storm windows that don't alter the historic exterior appearance. Most in-kind restorations clear HPC review at the first meeting.

Ocean City is a family-shore community with substantial 1900s–1950s shore-residential and 1960s–2010s condo inventory — salt-air spec and hurricane-rated impact glass are non-negotiable on every install. The Wildwoods (North Wildwood, Wildwood, Wildwood Crest) have a unique mid-century motel architectural tradition (the "Doo-Wop" style) with original 1950s–1960s aluminum-frame windows that often need careful replacement to preserve the original architectural details. Stone Harbor, Avalon, and Sea Isle City are premium beach communities with strict zoning and the most stringent coastal-spec requirements in NJ.
