Salem County
Window & Glass
From Salem's colonial historic district to the Delaware River towns of Pennsville and Carneys Point — sash restoration, energy-efficient replacement, and commercial glass across New Jersey's most rural county.
New Jersey's oldest corner
Salem County is the most rural and least-populated county in New Jersey, tucked into the southwest corner along the Delaware River and Bay, and it holds some of the oldest building stock in the state. Salem City, settled in the 1670s, has a historic district of 18th- and 19th-century Federal and colonial homes where original wood double-hung sash is part of the character — and where careful restoration, weatherstripping, and accurate single-light glass replacement beat dropping in a modern vinyl unit. This is sash-restoration territory first, replacement second.
The river towns are a different job. Pennsville and Carneys Point, across from the Delaware Memorial Bridge with their DuPont-era industrial history, are mostly modest mid-century homes where practical, budget-conscious energy-efficient replacement is the right answer — durable vinyl double-hungs that cut drafts and heating costs. Out in Woodstown and the surrounding farmland, we handle farmhouse windows, outbuilding glass, and the larger custom openings older agricultural homes were built with.
Commercially, the older Broadway and Market Street storefronts in Salem and the small downtowns get storefront glass, reglazing, and emergency board-up work. Salem is at the far southwest edge of our statewide service area from Garfield, so we schedule it as a planned measurement-and-install trip rather than same-day — but the estimate is free, the quote is honest, and every job is permitted and warrantied the same as our North Jersey work.
