Princeton has one of the strictest historic preservation overlays in NJ. Most of the central neighborhoods (the Western Section, the Mercer Hill District, central Witherspoon Street) are within designated historic districts where exterior changes — including window replacement — require COA review by the Princeton Historic Preservation Commission.
Our Princeton work is exclusively high-end and historically appropriate: true-divided-light wood sash restoration, restoration glass with period-appropriate waviness, putty glazing detail (not modern rubber gasket), and reproduction hardware. We coordinate COA submittals as part of every Princeton project.
