Yes. Permanent haze between the panes is a failed insulated-glass seal, common once a unit passes 15-25 years — right on schedule for Riverside's postwar ranches and split-levels. Because only the sealed unit has gone, your existing sash and frame stay put; we take its dimensions, have a matching replacement built in 2-5 business days, and set the new unit into the old opening. A shattered pane we board up the same day.
Does living near Lake Carnegie or the canal affect my windows and doors?
The lakeside and canal-side pockets of Princeton — much of Riverside — carry higher ambient humidity, and in winter that shows up two ways. Condensation on the glass surface is just warm indoor air meeting cold panes and points to older single- or double-pane windows, managed with ventilation and better glazing.
