French Door Installation
Hinged double doors with full glass panels — traditional NJ Colonial + Tudor aesthetic for patios + room dividers.
French Door Installation
French doors are hinged double doors with mostly-glass panels, both doors operating with a primary active leaf + secondary inactive leaf that unlocks for full opening. The traditional choice for NJ Colonial, Tudor, Federal, and historic architectural styles where the sliding-door aesthetic doesn't fit. Best for patios with adequate floor space for the swing radius (typically 24-36" interior swing) and entertainers who want to open the full opening for indoor-outdoor flow. We install Andersen 400 Series, Pella Reserve, Marvin Ultimate, and Provia Endure French doors in vinyl, fiberglass, and aluminum-clad wood. Premium aluminum-clad wood ($5,500–$9,500 installed for 6' configurations) is the most popular spec on NJ premium residential; vinyl ($2,500–$4,200) is the value choice. Multi-point locking standard; impact-rated glass available for coastal NJ properties.
